Wunce (2002)
Performed with the three-piece band Spontaneous Tongue, the work unfolded over one hour through continuous movement and an improvised soundscape. The performer pushed the body towards exhaustion, while the band created an increasingly intense atmosphere. Borrowing the familiar structure of a Western rock band, the work presented an abstracted frontman. There was no singing, only movement, noise, and physical endurance. The performance questioned the spectacle of live music by reducing it to its simplest elements, where repetition and intensity gradually replaced performance itself.
