Train on Its Side (2020)
Concept work using A.I. A full-sized train lies quietly on its side within the landscape. It has not crashed or been abandoned; it simply occupies a position that denies the purpose for which it was built. A machine designed for speed, direction, and movement is brought to complete stillness. Set against the surrounding countryside, the work places the certainty of industry alongside the slower rhythms of the natural world. Nothing appears to happen, yet the familiar image of the train begins to shift, inviting a moment of pause between movement and stillness, progress and reflection.
