A thousand drawings
Thousand Drawings (2006) Thousands of small observational drawings, made over several years in the streets of London, are presented together in a single installation. Each drawing records a brief encounter, passing moment, or everyday observation. Individually they capture fragments of daily life; together they reveal the scale and rhythm of sustained looking. Arranged in ordered rows, the installation invites visitors to move slowly across the work, discovering relationships between images as they emerge. London is represented not through its landmarks or events, but through the accumulation of ordinary moments that so often pass unnoticed.
